Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for the subject and grade level assigned.
• Teaching certifications in multiple areas are preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and required documentation.
• Prepare lessons with accommodations for diverse learning styles.
• Present material according to Texas Education Agency guidelines and policies.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials reflecting student needs and learning styles.
• Assess student progress using formal and informal methods.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Coordinate goals with campus requirements and staff.
• Supervise teacher aides and volunteers as assigned.
• Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning processes.
• Establish and maintain open communication with parents, students, and staff.
• Participate in staff development and comply with district policies.
