Job summary

Hill 35 in Texas is seeking a Long Term Substitute Teacher for SpEd Inclusion/Resource in Math, from October 2026 through January 2027, to support students' academic growth and development.

The successful candidate will develop and implement lesson plans aligned with TEA guidelines, adapt materials for IEPs, collaborate with special education staff, maintain records, and communicate with families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for the assigned subject and level.
• District requirements and policies for classroom teachers must be followed.
• Demonstrated competency in core academic subject area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum.
• Prepare lessons with accommodations for different learning styles.
• Present material according to TEA guidelines and school policies.
• Plan and use strategies, activities, and materials to meet diverse needs.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Work with staff to set goals and methods per district requirements.
• Supervise teacher aide(s) and volunteers as assigned.
• Use technology to enhance teaching and learning.
