Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the district curriculum and show written evidence of preparation.
• Prepare lessons that reflect accommodations for differences in student learning styles.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and school policies.
• Plan and use instructional strategies, materials, and equipment reflecting students' learning needs.
• Conduct assessment of student learning and use results to plan activities.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula for IEPs.
• Work with staff to determine goals, objectives, and methods per district requirements.
• Supervise teacher aides and volunteers.
• Use technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.
• Establish open communication with parents, students, and staff.
