Job summary

The Village of Glenview is seeking a full-time Management Analyst to assist multiple departments with project management, budget analysis, process improvements, and special projects. This role supports informed decision-making and helps drive organizational efficiency for residents on Chicago's North Shore.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree in public administration or related field, 1–3 years of relevant government experience, and strong written and oral communication skills to prepare

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public administration or related field; master's preferred.
• 1–3 years of related professional experience, preferably in local government.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prepare clear, well-organized reports for senior management and elected officials.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and administrative support to the Department Director.
• Conduct research and program analysis to inform department decisions and prepare reports.
• Assist in developing, monitoring, and tracking the department’s budget and ensure policy compliance.
• Support contract administration and procurement processes, including bids and payments.
• Coordinate and support new programs and technology implementation with stakeholders.
• Develop systems and procedures to identify efficiencies and improve services.
• Provide customer service and represent the Village at meetings and events.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Department Directors or the Village Manager.
