Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in a related field and 1–3 years of local government experience, with strong communication and reporting skills. This position offers a 40-hour work week and public-sector benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, business management, political science, research analysis, or related field.
• 1–3 years of related professional experience, preferably in local government.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to prepare clear, well-organized reports for senior management and elected officials.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and administrative support to the Department Director, exercising independent judgment on complex issues.
• Conduct research and program analysis to inform department decision-making and prepare reports for senior management and the Village Board.
• Assist in developing, monitoring, and tracking the department’s budget and ensure compliance with financial policies.
