Brookdale Senior Living in Kansas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler systems, generators, and kitchen equipment. You will respond to community maintenance requests and coordinate with directors and residents in both private rooms and common areas.

You will maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies while keeping buildings and grounds in top condition.

Qualifications

• Maintenance Technician responsibilities include performing HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment maintenance.
• Maintenance projects scheduled or assigned, and responding to maintenance requests.
• Maintaining communication with fire marshals, building inspectors and jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, kitchen equipment and emergency pull cord equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests from community directors and residents in private rooms and public areas.
• Maintain positive communication with local fire marshal, building inspector and jurisdictions governing the community.
