Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an LPN to provide direct nursing care under supervision in our Illinois facilities. You will administer medications, assist with procedures, document in the EMR, and help maintain the plan of care within the LPN scope.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, gathering vital signs, and supporting a high-quality patient experience. This role may involve precepting new staff and participating in telephone triage as needed.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• Licensed Practical Nurse, IL license required (IDFPR).
• College diploma and certificate of completion for LPN.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under supervision of RN or provider.
• Administer medications (oral, rectal, IM, inhalation).
• Assist with procedures and patient care tasks as directed.
• Document care accurately in the EMR and report changes.
• Room patients, collect vitals, and perform basic nursing duties.
• Preceptor for new staff and participate in triage and follow-up calls.
