Job summary

Community Legal Services is seeking a service-minded Litigation Paralegal to support the Director of Litigation and attorneys on high‑impact civil cases in Central Florida. The role covers intake, fact gathering, research, drafting, and trial preparation while ensuring compliance with professional standards.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years in a law firm, paralegal certification or legal studies, and FRP in good standing.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certification or legal studies preferred.
• FRP in good standing with Florida Bar required/plus.
• 2+ years law firm litigation support experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client intakes, determine eligibility, gather case information.
• Interview clients and witnesses, investigate facts, prepare reports for attorneys.
• Maintain client communications under attorney supervision.
• Assist in pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and trial exhibits.
• Perform legal research using Westlaw and summarize findings.
• Organize case files, calendars, and deadlines; track reporting requirements.
