Job summary

NUWAY Alliance is seeking a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor to join Cochran Recovery Services in Maplewood, MN. This full-time position involves providing counseling to clients individually and in groups, ensuring confidentiality, and documenting services in an EHR.

The ideal candidate holds a current Minnesota LADC license, meets DHS requirements, and brings strong communication skills, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current LADC license issued by Minnesota.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience in substance use disorder and/or mental health treatment.
• Previous counseling or internship experience preferred.
• Proficient computer literacy including EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver treatment services to clients individually and in group settings.
• Maintain client confidentiality per state, federal guidelines and HIPAA.
• Document services in writing and in English.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support client progress.
