Job summary

The position focuses on breastfeeding education, equipment coordination, and cross-department collaboration to maintain continuum of care in perinatal services, with ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• RN license in Ohio is required.
• BSN or higher nursing degree.
• Must obtain CLC or IBCLC within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Educate and assist with breastfeeding problems beyond standard nursing care.
• Coordinate breast pumps, rental and sales of retail accessories.
• Provide prenatal and post-discharge classes and support for breastfeeding mothers.
• Collaborate on policies and materials for the Lactation Program.
