CHD’s Juvenile Justice Program is seeking motivated individuals for the Juvenile Justice Support Specialist roles. This event offers a hands-on opportunity to work in a secure setting with at-risk youth and gain foundational experience in the justice system.

The position requires completion of DYS training in Grafton, MA, a 21+ age minimum, a valid driver’s license with background checks, and a preference for male candidates. Pay starts at $20/hour during the fast-track event hiring process.

Qualifications

• Must attend 3 weeks of DYS training academy located offsite in Grafton, MA.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with the ability to pass a driving record check and CORI criminal background screens.
• Male candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care & Security: Maintain a safe, secure environment and supervise resident movement within a locked facility.
• Mentorship: Provide counseling, advocacy, and lead daily group meetings to support rehabilitation.
• Crisis Management: Use program policies to manage client behavior and react productively to changing environments.
