National Center on Institutions and Alternatives Inc in Baltimore, MD is seeking a dedicated job coach to provide individualized coaching, training, and support in workplace settings. You will teach job tasks, reinforce social interactions, and encourage independence while ensuring reliable job performance across shifts in Laurel and Baltimore areas.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to assist with daily living activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of related experience or training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living (feeding, toileting, hygiene) as needed.
• Ability to remain alert, attentive, and physically active throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized coaching, training, and support in the workplace.
• Teach and reinforce job tasks, workplace expectations, and appropriate social interactions.
• Encourage independence while ensuring successful job performance.
• Implement Person-Centered Plans and Behavior Support Plans.
• Assist individuals in following work schedules and completing assigned duties.
• Support participation in community-based Meaningful Day Services activities.
• Respond professionally to behavioral challenges using approved intervention techniques.
• Complete required documentation, including attendance records, progress notes, and incident reports.
• Maintain safe, organized, and well-stocked work environments.
• Transport individuals using agency vehicles in accordance with agency policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors, families, and support teams to promote positive outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, including CPR, First Aid, and behavior management training.
