Job summary

The Well NE in Norfolk, NE seeks an ACT Vocational Specialist to help participants pursue employment and education goals through IPS- Supported Employment and Education within the ACT model. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to translate goals into practical steps and coordinate with employers, training providers, and benefits planning.

Qualifications

• Degree in vocational rehabilitation, human services, counseling, psychology, education, business, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience in supported employment, vocational services, workforce development, education support, or behavioral health preferred.
• Complete IPS and ACT role-specific training after hire and maintain required training and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide IPS Employment and Education services to ACT participants who express interest in working or pursuing education.
• Learn each participant’s employment and education preferences, strengths, skills, work history, interests, support needs, and goals.
• Begin rapid, preference-based search for employment or education opportunities and integrate with the ACT team.
• Support job development, applications, resumes, interviews, and employer conversations.
• Provide flexible, individualized support in community settings and adapt as needs change.
• Coordinate with the ACT team and document progress and outcomes in participant records.
