Job summary

Ripon College Board Of Trustees seeks an Internship & Experiential Learning Coordinator to support internship placement, study away programs, and education placements for students, advancing experiential learning and student success.

Reporting to the Director of Career & Professional Development, you will collaborate with faculty and employers, develop an internship course, manage stipends or academic credit, and ensure FERPA compliance with tools like Google Workspace, Handshake, and Canvas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Career Development, Higher Education/Student Affairs, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in Career Services, Cooperative Education, Community Relations, Recruitment, Human Resources or related field.
• Experience with employer relationships.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Well-developed interpersonal, leadership, project management, and group and/or classroom facilitation skills.
• Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• FERPA confidentiality and compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Internships and Employer Relations (50%): Assist the director with developing and strengthening employer relationships for internships and post-college employment; lead internship placement and assess student success.
• Study Away and Abroad (15%): Facilitate internship placement and manage processes related to students’ participation in internship experiences.
• Education Studies Placement (15%): Work with school districts and faculty to maximize student experiences.
• Career and Professional Development Support (15%): Provide support to the Center as needed.
• Technical Proficiency (5%): Ensure confidentiality and FERPA compliance; use Google Workspace, Handshake, and Canvas to streamline processes.
