Oak View Elementary in Maple Grove, Minnesota, is seeking an Educational Support Professional to assist teaching staff and students with instructional support in the classroom, inspiring scholars and contributing to a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities include supporting academic and social-emotional needs, supervision, and collaboration with administrators and counselors; the schedule runs roughly 9:30 to 4:00, totaling six hours per day, with starting date Oct 19, 2026.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet Highly Qualified status via two years of college credits or an associate degree.
• Passing score on ParaPro, ParaEducator, or ParaPathways assessment.
• District will pay for the assessment.

Responsibilities

• Support the academic and social-emotional needs of students.
• Assist with social-emotional learning and behavior support for individual students.
• Supervise students in large group situations in classroom and other areas of the building or small groups.
• Work with students individually or in small groups instructionally.
• Assist in small group assessments and data management as it relates to student work in reading and math.
• Perform functions associated with classroom protocols.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
