Job summary

Global Educational Excellence (GEE) is seeking a Paraprofessional (Instructional Aide) in Dearborn, MI to support classroom instruction and student supervision under a certified teacher’s guidance. This part-time position involves assisting with instruction, tutoring, behavior management, and field-trip coordination.

The role requires meeting Michigan Paraprofessional Standards, which may be satisfied by 60 college credits, an associate degree or higher, or passing paraprofessional assessments,

Qualifications

• Must meet Michigan Paraprofessional Standards (ESEA Title I).
• Either 60 college credits, an associate degree or higher, or passing ParaPro/SAT/Michigan Basic Skills.
• Satisfactory criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher with instruction and routines.
• Provide individual or small-group tutoring under teacher direction.
• Support behavior management in classroom, hallways, cafeteria, and transitions.
• Assist with classroom prep, materials, and field trips.
• Support bilingual communication with students and families as applicable.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions.
