POSITION SUMMARY

The Paraprofessional supports classroom instruction and student supervision under the direct supervision of a certified teacher, contributing to a structured, safe, and productive learning environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must meet one of the following educational requirements under the Michigan Paraprofessional Standards (ESEA Title I):

Completion of at least 60 semester credit hours at an accredited college or university, OR

Associate's degree or higher, OR

Passing score on an approved formal academic assessment (ETS ParaPro Assessment minimum 460; SAT 480+ EBRW and 530+ Math; or Michigan Basic Skills Exam)

Satisfactory criminal background check

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
