Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Texarkana is hiring a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our inpatient team. The successful candidate will perform routine and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures and maintain equipment, with patient-focused care for diverse populations.

Must hold a state license, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and high school diploma or associate degree. Nevada sites may require blood gas licensure. One year of clinical respiratory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in Nevada.
• High school diploma required, associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures.
• Maintain all respiratory care equipment in working order.
• Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
