Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Texarkana seeks a dedicated Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our inpatient team. The RCP performs routine therapy, diagnostics and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures, while maintaining equipment and supporting patient care across diverse populations.

Required: state licensure where the hospital resides, current BLS and ACLS, and at least 1 year of clinical respiratory experience preferred; Nevada blood gas licensure may apply where relevant.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures.
• Maintains all equipment in working order and provides phlebotomy/baseline labs as required.
• Cares for diverse patient populations in PAM Health hospitals.
