Job summary

Texas Panhandle Centers is seeking an IDD Service Coordinator to deliver trauma-informed care, skills training, and recovery planning across Amarillo and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes supporting adults with IDD in community and home settings and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, strong communication, and the ability to manage caseloads while meeting deadlines. Travel is required within the top 21 counties of the Texas Panhandle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Excellent time management, writing, and verbal skills.
• Independently manage own caseloads and meet deadlines.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with an insurable driving record.
• Must be 18 years of age and able to use 2FA per policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ethical, professional communications using trauma-informed care language.
• Travel within the Texas Panhandle to serve adults with IDD.
• Meet clients monthly to monitor services and plan supports.
• Advocate for individuals to ensure safety, happiness, and wellbeing.
• Develop and review Person Directed Plans with the team annually.
• Link clients to community resources for independent living.
• Complete timely documentation per deadlines and policy.
