Job summary

Texas Panhandle Centers in Amarillo, TX seeks an Administrative Technician (1189) to support adults with IDD across the service area. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, supervision of direct care staff, and coordination within an interdisciplinary team.

The position requires a valid Texas driver's license, 18+ years old, and strong communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish and ASL are a plus; two-factor authentication may be used for secure access.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with an insurable driving record.
• Employees may be required to use personal mobile phones for two-factor authentication (2FA).

Responsibilities

• Maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using trauma-informed language.
• Hire, train, and supervise assigned direct care staff.
• Recruit and supervise staff providing direct care in ISS/Day Habilitation.
• Attend meetings and collaborate with the team to plan client goals.
• Complete documentation within requested timelines.
• Meet established productivity standards.
• Adhere to the organization’s code of conduct and report concerns.
