Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience gathering and analyzing information in a social service or law enforcement program, and a bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• You must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Northeast Region which includes specified PA counties.
• You must meet the PA residency requirement.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing inspections of licensed personal care homes and assisted living residences to determine adherence to state laws and regulations.
• Investigate complaints and incidents to assess facts and verify compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Interview residents, staff, families, and officials to collect details related to licensing inspections.
• Examine medical, legal, and program documents to identify compliance issues and support inspection findings.
• Provide guidance to operators and staff to help them understand and meet state regulations.
• Recommend licensing or corrective actions based on inspection results and professional judgment.
