Job summary

The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is hiring a Housing Specialist to help maintain housing stability for participants, ensure HUD program compliance, and collaborate with staff and partners to deliver services.

Strong data management, communication, and knowledge of housing programs are essential. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and the ability to travel as needed; the organization offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• HUD regulations knowledge for housing programs (HOME TBRA, PSH, ESG, HCV etc).
• Strong customer service and communication with participants and landlords.
• Accurate data entry and documentation in multiple housing databases.

Responsibilities

• Researches and applies HUD rules for housing programs and ensures compliance.
• Maintains housing files and databases (HMIS, FileMaker, Elite) and monitors accuracy.
• Collaborates with case managers and outside agencies to ensure housing stability for participants.
