Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an Environmental Service Technician at the Grosse Pointe Hospital site. This role focuses on cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, removing linens and waste, and maintaining floors, carpets and upholstery.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Public service or customer service experience in hotel, hospital, environmental services, or janitorial setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect and stock patient rooms, offices and ancillary areas as directed.
• Maintain floors, carpets and upholstery through routine cleaning.
• Assemble, maintain and store equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure continuity of service and report needs.
• Assist visitors and staff in navigating the hospital environment.
