Great River Health is seeking a dedicated housekeeping professional for evening and night shifts to maintain patient rooms and public areas in a clean, safe environment. Responsibilities include routine cleaning, trash removal, stocking supplies, and following safety procedures to protect floors and surfaces.

The role requires attention to detail, good communication, and time-management skills, with a minimum wage starting at $16.50 per hour. Rotating holidays and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred.
• Good command of English language in reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using appropriate cleaners.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Follow chemical safety and operating procedures to protect floors and fixtures.
• Gather and empty trash and recycling.
• Notify managers about major repairs or system needs.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Extract or shampoo carpets.
• Routine cleaning of patient rooms, offices, and public areas using the 8-step method.
