Job summary

Amedisys in Shelton, CT is seeking a Speech Therapist to join our Home Health team on a per diem, weekday schedule. You will assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in adults and provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support.

Qualifications include CT licensure, CCC-SLP, CPR. Preferred 1+ year experience. Pay is $50–$80 per hour. Benefits include medical plans (PPO or HSA), paid time off, 401(k) with match, wellness rewards, and family support programs.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology for the assigned state.
• CCC-SLP certification with eligible CFY if needed.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social and cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support for deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals.
• Other duties as assigned.
