Job summary

Mission Healthcare in Salem, Oregon is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality home health and hospice care. You will perform initial assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate with patients and families to meet their needs.

We offer competitive pay of $52–$62 per hour, a 5K sign-on, and comprehensive benefits. A valid RN license and BLS are required, with 1 year of acute care and home health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience in an institutional setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) with CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes an initial assessment of the patient and family to determine home care needs.
• Initiates the plan of care and revises as patient status changes.
• Regularly re-evaluates patients’ needs and documents findings.
• Develops a care plan with goals based on nursing diagnosis and family involvement.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Provides health care instructions to patients and families as appropriate.
