Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide in-home physical therapy services in Florida under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist. The role includes evaluating patients, developing rehab plans, and teaching exercises to patients and families.

The PTA will document progress, assist with discharge summaries, and collaborate with the health team. Availability to travel to patient homes and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Florida, or eligible.
• Current CPR certification.
• Criminal background check cleared.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PT services in patients' homes under PT direction.
• Assist in evaluation and development of the rehabilitative plan of care.
• Prepare progress notes and discharge summaries within 48 hours for PT review.
• Instruct patient and family on exercises and home programs.
• Observe and record patient responses to treatment and report changes.
• Coordinate with PT and other health team members; attend staff meetings.
