Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs and PBSPs.
• Collaborate with team to support students’ academic, behavioral, emotional, and social needs.
• Ensure that the classroom environment is conducive to learning while building a positive rapport with students.
• Implement positive behavioral strategies and effective classroom management.
• Communicate regularly with students, families, staff, and administrators regarding student matters.
• Communicate with professionalism in all required areas.
• Collaborate with curriculum leader and district leadership to understand yearly roles and responsibilities.
• Understanding of special education processes, procedures, and compliance.
• Follow district policy, guidelines, regulations and procedures, as well as maintain confidentiality.
