SoWashCo Schools is seeking a High Needs/Resource Special Ed Paraprofessional for Red Rock Elementary School. The role provides instructional and behavioral support under a licensed special education teacher, with duties spanning curriculum support, data collection, and student supervision.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to meet Highly Qualified requirements, and1st aid/CPR certification.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must meet district Highly Qualified requirements.
• Candidate should be able to reinforce math, reading and writing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Consult daily with licensed special education teacher.
• Assist with implementing district policies and procedures.
• Support students in academic areas and adapt instructional materials.
• Assist students with daily living activities as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Document student data as directed by the supervising teacher.
• Provide services per the teacher's directions and respect role boundaries.
• Demonstrate diversity awareness in all interactions.
