Qualifications

• Valid California Driver's License.
• Valid California BSIS Guard Card.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED Certification.
• High School Diploma or higher.
• Current Baton Permit/Card.
• Current Handcuff Permit.
• Healthcare vaccinations or immunizations, including TB, MMR, and Varicella.
• Must pass a Live Scan background investigation and client approval process.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Must have a Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hospital and healthcare facilities.
• Maintain a visible security presence.
• Assist patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity and safety concerns.
• Complete incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Respond to emergencies and security incidents.
• Utilize de-escalation and conflict-resolution techniques.
• Assist with access control and visitor management.
• Coordinate with healthcare staff, supervisors, and law enforcement.
