Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; valid Texas teaching certificate
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
• AED/CPR certification for Physical Education teachers

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that reflect district curriculum requirements and document preparation.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials aligned to TEA guidelines, student needs, and district policies.
• Assess student learning styles and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Coordinate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEP requirements.
• Collaborate with staff to set instructional goals, objectives, and methods per district requirements.
• Supervise instructional aides and volunteers and oversee their work.
