Rhode Island Parent Information Network (RIPIN) is seeking a Health Policy Analyst to support OHIC initiatives, track legislation, and prepare policy analyses and communications. You will collaborate with OHIC staff and stakeholders, coordinate meetings, educate participants, and help advance health insurance policy objectives while also supporting RIPIN's advocacy and outreach efforts as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least three years’ experience with healthcare and/or health insurance policy in Rhode Island.
• Experience navigating RI health, social services systems beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Support OHIC’s internal and external communications, including social media and OHIC’s website.
• Coordinate, schedule and provide support for OHIC public meetings (agendas, minutes, content).
• Recruit and inform participants for OHIC sponsored meetings and initiatives.
• Track pertinent state legislation and review testimony and letters of support/concern.
• Provide policy research and analysis to OHIC as needed.
• Support RIPIN functions such as policy research, advocacy, event planning and outreach as needed.
