The City of Baltimore’s Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement seeks a GVRS Intervention Specialist to provide targeted support and evidence-based interventions for youth and adults at high risk of gun violence involvement. You will assess needs, plan services, respond to crises, and coordinate with families, schools, and community partners.

Formación

• Assess behavioral, emotional, social, and environmental needs of GVRS participants.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans.
• Provide direct one-on-one and group interventions using evidence-based practices.
• Deliver crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, case managers, and community providers. Facilitate conflict resolution and restorative practices when appropriate.
• Track and document progress, maintaining accurate and timely case notes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews.
• Connect participants to community resources and supportive services.
• Provide advocacy support within school, court, community, or social service systems. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
