Baltimore City is seeking a GVRS Deputy Chief to provide strategic leadership, oversight, and performance accountability for the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement (MONSE) focused violence reduction initiative. You will supervise staff, manage contracts, and ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with the city’s violence reduction strategy.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (or Bachelor’s with significant leadership experience)
• 5+ years of experience in violence prevention, reentry, or justice-involved programming
• 3+ years of supervisory or program management experience
• Experience managing government-funded contracts preferred
• Must have valid Maryland Class C Noncommercial driver’s license and be eligible for Baltimore City driver’s permit
• Upload a copy of driver’s license with application

• Provide leadership for all program operations and service delivery.
• Ensure alignment with MONSE violence reduction priorities and high-risk targeting strategies.
• Maintain fidelity to the approved intervention model.
• Develop internal policies and procedures consistent with contract requirements.
• Coordinate with MONSE and city partners; participate in strategy meetings and case conferencing.
• Oversee data entry accuracy and reporting in city-approved systems.
• Monitor budget expenditures and ensure alignment with approved categories.
• Prepare documentation for site visits, audits, and monitoring reviews.
