Job summary

Dallas College is seeking a Grants Program Coordinator to develop, implement, and monitor grant-funded programs that ensure participant engagement and compliance with objectives. This on-site role prioritizes collaboration with schools, businesses, and community partners to maximize grant impact.

The position is funded by external grant resources; eligibility for a hybrid arrangement after six months may be possible based on responsibilities and policy.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of an Associate's degree with at least 3 years of grant coordination or related programming experience.
  • Ability to interpret and apply grant funding policies at local, state, federal, and university levels.
  • Proven track record in developing grants, budgets, and compliance reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and oversees grant program participation and services for students.
  • Administers student applications, evaluations, and communications with schools.
  • Develops and monitors internal schedules to produce timely reports for constituents.
  • Coordinates information for parents/participants with colleges, schools and partners.
  • Manages grant program processes including submissions, funding sources, and evaluations.
  • Collaborates with internal and external groups to interpret policies related to the grant program.
  • Supports event design and implementation with schools and grant partners.
  • Advises students through one-on-one, phone, or online interactions.
