Job summary

Children & Family Advocacy Center in Arkansas is seeking an experienced Events Specialist to lead planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising events from concept to post-event evaluation. You will manage venues, vendors, budgets, and volunteer teams, collaborate with Community Relations to promote events, and develop strategies to engage donors and sponsors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in event planning and management, preferably nonprofit.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and event management tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute fundraising events, including galas and donor activities.
• Prepare and manage event budgets, track expenses, and report on performance.
• Oversee day-of-event logistics, staff, volunteers, and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate with Community Relations for marketing and promotion strategies.
• Engage donors and sponsors, building relationships and recognition programs.
• Coordinate with vendors and volunteers to ensure high-quality service.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and implement improvements.
• Represent the organization at community events and networking opportunities.
