Four Oaks Family and Children Services in Iowa seeks a Functional Family Specialist to guide families of adolescents ages 10–18 using Functional Family Therapy to improve communication and relationships, with weekly home-based sessions.

You will manage a caseload of about 10–15 families over 8–26 weeks, meet families on their schedule, coordinate community resources, and collaborate with schools and health professionals to support lasting positive change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, social work, human services, criminal justice or a related field is required.
• Prior experience in family therapy or youth services is preferable but not required.
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 10–15 families over 8–26 weeks.

Responsabilités

• Provide at least one hour of home-based family therapy each week.
• Strengthen family relationships using the FFT model to improve communication.
• Develop interventions based on individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions to support success.
• Discharge planning and ongoing evaluation of family progress.
• Collaborate with schools, healthcare providers, and community partners.
