Responsibilities

• Develops and administers elementary curriculum aligned with district goals.
• Creates a safe, supportive classroom environment for individual and small group instruction.
• Prepares lesson plans and instructional materials to maximize instructional time.
• Assesses student learning and adjusts teaching strategies accordingly.
• Maintains records of grades, attendance and progress as required by district policies.
• Communicates with parents and staff about student progress and expectations.
