Job summary

Rise Against Hunger is seeking an Event Facilitator in Marietta, GA for a part-time, hourly role at $19 per hour. You will lead volunteers through meal packing, transport materials in a box truck (no CDL), and represent the organization at events to promote hunger relief work.

You’ll coordinate logistics for 4–12 events monthly, support warehouse tasks, and help develop partnerships with community and faith-based groups. Strong presentation and people skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience presenting to groups and engaging volunteers.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple events.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and operating pallet jacks.
• Willingness to drive a box truck to events.
• Comfortable working with faith-based groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead volunteers through meal-packaging procedures and adjust tasks as needed.
• Track volunteer registrations and facilitate 4–12 events per month.
• Transport materials to mobile locations and set up equipment.
• Receive shipments, prepare orders for shipping, and maintain warehouse stock.
• Build relationships with partner organizations and promote campaigns.
