Job summary

Rise Against Hunger is seeking an Event Facilitator in Houston for as-needed part-time work, including some nights and weekends. You will manage volunteer teams, transport materials, and help run meal-pack events aligned with our hunger-ending mission.

You will engage diverse groups, promote donations, and coordinate at-site logistics while representing our nonprofit and ensuring a smooth experience for hosts and participants.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and volunteer engagement.
• Good judgement and problem-solving under minimal direction.
• Comfortable reaching out to partners and driving participation.

Responsibilities

• Lead volunteers through packaging procedures and adapt roles per event.
• Track volunteer registrations and facilitate 4–12 events per month.
• Transport materials to sites, set up equipment, and promote donations at events.
