Job summary

Texas Instruments is looking for an Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, improvements, upgrades, and equipment installation. You will interface with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently.

Minimum requirements include a High School diploma/GED, 18+, ability to work night shift that includes one weekend shift and holidays, 12-hour compressed work schedule, and either 2 years of semiconductor

Texas Instruments is looking for a skilled Equipment Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, equipment upgrades, and equipment installation. You will interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs
• Monitor and analyze all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool related issues
• Coordinate supplier service and repairs where needed
• Prepare the technical report and summary findings and recommending solutions to technical problems

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma/GED
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to work night shift that will include one weekend shift and holidays
• Ability to work 12 hour compressed work schedule
• One of the following:
• 2 years of semiconductor experience as Technician OR
• 8 years of non-semiconductor/military Technician experience
