Job summary

Mi-Tech Services, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Technician to monitor landfills, collect water and soil samples, and perform materials testing with data analysis and reporting. You will screen projects for environmental concerns and help prepare environmental permit applications.

The role requires an environmental science background and familiarity with GIS is preferred. Strong project work ethic and willingness to travel may be beneficial for field activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with ESRI GIS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor landfills (gas/water), collect water and soil samples.
• Perform materials testing and data evaluation with report preparation.
• Screen projects for environmental concerns (wetlands, endangered species, stormwater) and assist permit applications.
