Job summary

ETC is seeking a Field Technician in Michigan to collect air, dust, soil, and water samples and perform hazardous materials inspections at client sites. You will gather, analyze, and interpret data, and submit daily field reports while traveling to job sites.

Requires a high school diploma; a BS in Industrial Hygiene or Environmental Science is preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential, with opportunities for growth and safety-focused training.

Qualifications

• Requires strong written and oral communication.
• Able to work in a team or independently.
• Must hold valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel to job sites across Michigan.
• Education: HS diploma minimum; BS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect air, dust, soil, and water samples.
• Conduct hazardous materials inspections including sampling for lead-based paint and other regulated materials.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
• Prepare and submit accurate Daily Field Reports.
• Independently operate relevant field equipment and perform field and office tasks as necessary.
• Ensure safe work practices on all project work.
• Protect families from the dangers of lead exposure.
