Responsibilities include developing policies, risk assessment, permit submissions, training, audits and reporting. Strong organization and MS Office skills are essential; hybrid work is supported for many office roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2–8 years of environmental experience depending on level.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains and provides guidance on environmental processes/policies
• Assesses environmental risk, provides recommendations and documents regulatory actions
• Prepares environmental permit applications and coordinates with partners
• Identifies training needs and provides training on compliance programs
• Performs environmental compliance audits and maintains documentation
• Cultivates relationships with regulatory agencies
• Researches standards and ensures regulatory compliance
• Prepares and submits compliance reports and plans to authorities
• Implements improvements for air, water, waste management systems
• Other duties as assigned
