Job summary

BlueCloud Staffing is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (SPED) – Elementary for a full-time role in Clarion, PA. You will develop IEPs, adapt curriculum, and deliver targeted interventions to students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive school setting.

The ideal candidate holds PA SPED certification or eligibility, a bachelor’s or master’s in Education, and experience in school settings.

Qualifications

• PA Special Education certification or eligibility is required or eligible.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education is required.
• Experience in school settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Commitment to inclusive and equitable educational practices is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt and modify instructional materials to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to promote student achievement.
• Provide direct instruction using evidence-based teaching strategies.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and training sessions.
