Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Compliance with NCLB and Iowa paraeducator licensing options.
• Basic computer/technology training as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing instruction to individuals or small groups as directed by the teacher.
• Participate in professional development and implement agreed instructional strategies.
• Support students with behavior plans, IEP, 504, and PBIS initiatives when applicable.
• Monitor student progress and report observations to teachers and administration.
• Collaborate with staff, families, and building teams to support learning.
• Maintain records and assist with classroom activities as assigned.
