Zeta is hiring Elementary Science Teachers for a growing network of NYC schools. We seek candidates with a Bachelor’s in a STEM field and 1–2+ years of lead teaching experience, with NY certification preferred.

Join us to deliver inquiry-based science instruction, build a supportive classroom culture, and contribute to ongoing professional development as we expand to new campuses in 2026–27.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field preferred.
• At least 1–2+ years of lead teaching experience.
• NY certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan inquiry-based, academically rigorous science lessons that foster wonder and exploration for all students.
• Build a classroom culture promoting love of learning and community for families.
• Internalize Zeta’s science content and social-emotional curriculum.
• Use data-driven approaches to drive student achievement.
• Develop authentic relationships with students and families for growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in weekly professional development.
