Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• AA degree or 48 college credits or state paraeducator assessment test required.
• Proficient in basic spelling, math and grammar.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor students throughout the day per school/district policies.
• Communicate concerns to the principal about safety or student behavior.
• Tutor individuals or groups as directed by the teacher.
• Assist with instructional programs and materials as needed.
• Plan daily/weekly activities with teachers serving the same students.
• Maintain records as directed by the supervising teacher.
• Interact positively with students, parents, and staff to support learning.
