Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a strategic Vice President, Corporate EHS to lead the global Environmental, Health & Safety function across 50+ facilities. This role reports to the EVP, Quality, Environment, Health & Safety, and blends governance, risk management and performance improvement with executive advisory duties.

Hybrid work schedule; location options include Cranberry Township, PA, Blairsville, PA, Columbia, SC or Ogden, UT.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Industrial Safety, Environmental, MBA or Master’s degree preferred
12+ years of experience in technical/manufacturing roles with at least 5 years leading global EHS teams
ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 leadership experience
Experience working across global organizations
Certified Safety Professional preferred
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or Black Belt) preferred

Responsibilities

Lead programs that inspire a world-class culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Develop Westinghouse Global EHS strategy and governance framework in close collaboration with the needs of the business.
Lead enterprise-wide programs for occupational safety, environmental compliance, industrial hygiene, and operational risk management.
Lead the development of the Westinghouse EHS Management system, including policies, programs, and tools.
Oversee EHS risk-based audits, identify deficiencies, and drive corrective action plans to preclude external audits or investigations.
